A meeting point for the learning community

What will education be like in the future? We don’t have the answer but when we asked ourselves this question, we imagined a time in which all classrooms will have technological devices in them. It was very clear to us that these devices will only be of any use if they are accompanied by digital contents. This train of thought gave rise to Tiching: a platform which provides a search engine for digital educational contents and a social network exclusively for the school learning community.

One of the challenges in the world of education is dealing with diversity: each student learns at their own speed and is more receptive to certain stimuli. We are passionate about offering all of the resources possible to guarantee personalized education and to provide the necessary tools to teaching professionals to enable them to deal with each student according to their needs.

In addition, we want to open the doors to the classroom so that teaching professionals, students and family members can collaborate and share educational experiences outside of the school itself. So far, the platform operates in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Spain, Mexico and Peru and we are growing steadily...

We still don’t know what the future holds on this adventure that started when we launched the first version of Tiching on 21st February 2011. What we do know is that we want to continue on this adventure hand in hand with the true protagonists: teaching professionals, students and family members. This is the only way that we can hope for Tiching to truly serve the real needs of the learning community and work together to build the education of the future.
