Radioactive Dating Game
With this simulation students will learn about different types of radiometric dating, such as carbon dating. They will understand how decay and half life work to enable radiometric dating to work. We can choose an isotope among Carbon-14, Nitrogen-14, Uranium-238 and Lead-206 to check its decay over 15,000 years. With a game, they can test their ability to match the percentage of the dating element that remains to the age of the object.
