Think! Road safety education, Lesson 3: Challenging risky behaviour

This lesson aims at developing strategies for dealing with peer pressure to take risks or when other people's choices put you at risk. We can read about situations in which teenagers need to recognize and refuse potentially harmful behaviours, such as driving under the effect of drug or alcohol abuse, cycling without lights, jumping red lights, walking out in front of cars to force them to stop, etc... Students may discuss why young people tend to take more risks than other groups.
